Our massage therapist Inna showed up about 15 minutes before the scheduled appointment time to set up. She offered the choice of oil or massage cream, and then set to work methodically kneading out our kinks and knots. Inna was mindful of our request to keep the pressure light to medium, although we got the impression that she would've been quite adept at working more deeply if we'd asked. But we were in the mood to relax completely and zone out, which is exactly what we did for the next hour.

Once the treatment was over, we were left with an array of appealing options for maintaining our serene state: curl up on the sofa with a magazine and sip hot tea, fill up the bathtub and soak for an hour, settle in to watch a favorite movie on DVD.
