The masseuses and masseurs at California Healing Arts College in West LA have all received their certification in massage therapy, and are simply completing their required hours of hands-on experience before they can venture out on their own as pro massage therapists. They've undergone extensive professional training, so they know what they're doing. And they specialize in everything from Swedish to shiatsu.
The cost? $32 for one hour. No tipping allowed. No kidding.
But don't expect a fancy day spa experience. California Healing Arts College is strictly no-frills. No sauna, no hot tub... just you and your massage therapist in a dimly lit room with soft music playing. But the facilities are private, clean and comfortable...and you'll float out the door when you're all done.
To schedule an appointment, call 310.826.7622. The receptionist will take your name and number and have a massage therapist call you back to schedule a time that suits you both. The sooner you call the better, as it can take a week or so for the therapist to get back to you.
