As our readers already know, Chill Out LA’s editors
are on a never-ending quest to find cheap places to get massages
that are neither skanky nor sketchy…so we were delighted
to come upon the Healing Hands Wellness Center, which resides
in a charming Craftsman-style house on Larchmont Blvd. in
Hollywood. (continued)
The meticulously clean facility features hardwood floors and
a calming, Asian-inspired design theme. Healing Hands doesn’t
have a sauna or steamroom, but a shower and fresh towels are
available for patrons who wish to freshen up after treatment.
Healing Hands’ licensed therapists and doctors specialize
in Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and pregnancy massage, as
well as shiatsu, acupressure, acupuncture and chiropractic
treatments. Treatment rooms are cheerful and airy, with warm,
comfy massage tables to accommodate your tired-out, knotted-up
body. We indulged in a deep tissue massage from a talented
masseuse; we could tell during and after our session that
her skilled hands were effective in finding and working out
the kinks.
