Chill Out LA's editorial staff and contributors make it their
mission to visit day spas, massage therapists, resorts and
Pilates studios to ensure that they're up to snuff for our
loyal readers. It's not an easy job, but somebody has to do
it.

Founder and editor Erin Mahoney Harris started
publishing Chill Out LA in April of 2004. She's logged
countless massages, facials and yoga classes since that
time, so you'd think she'd be a lot more relaxed than
she is. Erin is also the author of Walking
LA: 36 Walking Tours Exploring Stairways, Streets and
Buildings You Never Knew Existed, so you might find
her wandering the streets of Los Angeles with her husband
Tony, their son West and their dog Tuffy. |

Contributing editor Sharon Lord bears the brutal burden
of handling most of Chill Out LA's West Side assignments.
She is a TV Producer, mostly of game and reality shows,
whose brainchild, HARDly NEWS, can be played online at
www.bud.tv. She starts Business School in the Fall and
is planning a wedding in France in December, giving her
plenty of reason to continue needing all those massages.
She lives in Santa Monica with her fiance David. |

Contributing editor Maureen Brackey is an artist/writer
living in Los Angeles. Surprisingly, she doesn't support
herself as a waitress or a bartender. Maureen instead
fills her days with her passions, including yoga and self-pampering,
which made her a perfect addition to the Chill Out LA
team. When she's not writing, painting, or relaxing, Maureen
can typically be found at home honing her animal communication
skills with her cats.
