Eight is Enough

No two Cre8Balance healing sessions are ever the same because Andrea Sulzbacher uses her intuitive skills to tailor each one to the individual client's needs. But whatever method she pulls from her years of experience, the goal is the same: to balance body, mind and soul, bringing the client back to earth and back into the moment.

We entered Andrea's cozy and sweet-smelling Redondo Beach studio feeling anxious about a personal situation, and immediately realized our meeting with her was well timed (fate?). She told us a bit about what she does, helping her clients restore balance by healing from the outside in. Her bag of tricks contains Pilates, Yoga, Tai Chi and passive stretching, as well as Reiki, energy work and meditation, all meant to assist clients in unblocking their emotions, opening their hearts, and ultimately achieving their fullest potential of health, joy and happiness.

In our case, a guided meditation was in order. Andrea took us through an extended session, using long, deep breaths to get out of our stressed-out head and into the present moment. She also took us through a visualization wherein she had us imagine a figure eight going through our body (hence the name of her company, Cre8Balance), the top part connecting with higher wisdom, the lower part grounding us to the earth, and the mid-point of the eight meeting at our heart center. She then led our incredibly relaxed body to the table for some healing energy work.

Walking back to our car, we couldn't believe how stressed out we'd been only an hour before. We felt as if we'd done a mental 180, or we suppose you could call it a Figure 8!
