Quite Possibly the Purest Care on Earth

We visited Jurlique Wellness Skin Spa in Beverly Hills with the intention of detoxifying, recharging, and gaining a glowing complexion...and that's exactly what we did. Jurlique provides a wide variety of skin treatments, all geared towards enhancing vitality and well being by providing a peaceful respite from daily stresses. We were treated to an Ultra-Sensitive Skin Facial, a 60-minute cooling and calming treatment, with aesthetician Marisa.

Jurlique's products are all based on natural, plant-derived ingredients and use certified biodynamic herbs from their own gardens. Our facial began with lavender- and chamomile-based cleansing and toning products to remove impurities. Marisa then used steam and a series of warm compresses to open the pores before applying an almond-based face wash to gently exfoliate the skin. Each product was tenderly massaged and patted onto our skin, then wiped away with warm towels. Then came Jurlique's cooling Herbal Recovery, preparing our face for a purifying mask. Marisa gave us a delightful neck and arm massage as the slightly tingly mask invigorated our skin. She finished us off by applying a moisturizing cream of calendula, along with Jurlique's signature Eye Gel, Neck Serum and Herbal Recovery Gel.

After we roused ourselves from our deeply relaxed state, Marisa offered us a tasty Virtual Yoga Elixir Tonic. As we sipped, she recapped our treatment and shared advice about how to nurture our skin at home, along with suggestions for Jurlique products we might wish to purchase in the future.
