Getting Girlie with Our Gal Mandy

Makeup Mandy's full-service eyelash bar and makeup studio is a glamorous place to get a facial. We were immediately enchanted with the atmosphere and décor, which recalls the golden era of Hollywood.

After we'd filled out our new client form in the plush lounge, aesthetician Holly led us back to a private room, where we slipped into a comfy terrycloth robe. She began with Murad's Clarifying Cleanser, using her fingertips to gently massage the temples, forehead and cheekbones. Using a sponge and warm water, she removed the cleanser and began to exfoliate. Holly loves Freeze 24/7 Ice Crystals and by the end of the exfoliation, so did we. The soft granular potion smells of candy canes and gently sloughs off dead skin, leaving it minty fresh. Next Holly applied Murad's Smoothing Cream Mask to hydrate and protect the skin, and finally Murad's SPF Moisturizer to guard against sun damage.

On our way out Holly introduced us to Amanda Jacobellis, studio founder and celebrity makeup artist, who thanked us for our patronage. We were completely charmed by our experience with Holly and Amanda. We couldn't leave without the Freeze 24/7 Ice Crystals, so we bought some. And then we were on our way, basking in our revitalized femininity and glowing skin.
